Woolen Village

Woolen Village A stitch in time saves nine. Many a stitch and knit have not only put a model village on the map of global importance, but it is also coming up for sale. ‘Afternoon Club’ of the village has been knitting many landmarks in the village of Mersham near Ashford in Kent, which includes local primary school, the church, pubs, the local shop, residents playing cricket, and some of the local teenagers smoking a cigarette outside the bus shelter. The club has displayed excellent knitting aesthetics to build houses complete with flowers occupying the gardens and cars on the roads. And the records haven’t come overnight. The knitting started in 1986 that has seen the knitting connoisseurs create the records over a span of 23 years. If anybody would like to warm-up, visit the woolen Mersham village near Ashford. |
